Taught in English, the Master of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies program is a one-year (three semesters), full-time graduate degree program open to international students interested in an immersion in the history and current affairs of the modern Middle East. This program will equip its graduates with the analytical tools and knowledge base to eventually become experts on a region whose geo-political developments regularly affect the state of global affairs.
In addition to the excitement and challenges of studying in a foreign country, students who are enrolled in the MAMES Program will find their studies greatly enriched by the international pool of applicants that apply to TAU International each year. Participants hail from Europe, North and South America, Africa, Australia, and other locations in the Middle East. Both in the classroom and outside, diversity in backgrounds and opinions of the students guarantee that debate and discussion will be lively and provocative.
